After six months of not being able to box competitive, Raekwon Baas, now training at FitBoyz 010, made a successful comeback in the ring.
During the Open Championships OZNK he won the quarter-final on January 20 by WO.
January 21, Raekwon won the semi-final in Breda against the Belgian Lennert Dalemans, who defeated a German in the quarter-finals.
January 27, Raekwon won in Heerlen, the final vs Joshua Perkins by unanimous decision.
More boxers of Curacao origin and who live and train in the Netherlands, participate in these championships. Cyrus Clarinda (Bredase ring) and Jurmar Samuel Valentijn (FitBoyz 010) will both box directly in the finals. Clarinda won on the 21 against Justin Tomasoua (Van ‘t Hof). Valentijn won on the 28 against Kaganhan Durmus (Belgium). Tremayne Melfor (FitBoyz 010) won the semi-final, but could not box the final due to an injury.
